Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive Kathmandu
Airport pickup, transfer to hotel (1,350 m), briefing.
Day 2
Kathmandu → Lukla → Phakding (2,650 m)
Early scenic flight to Lukla, then 4 hr trek to Phakding.
Day 3
Phakding → Namche Bazaar (3,446 m)
5–6 hr trek through pine and rhododendron forests, first glimpse of Everest.
Day 4
Namche acclimatisation
Hike to Everest View Hotel for sunrise, explore Namche bazaar and museum.
Day 5
Namche → Tengboche (3,867 m)
5–6 hr trek with views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse and Ama Dablam. Visit Tengboche monastery.
Day 6
Tengboche → Dingboche (4,481 m)
Through birch and rhododendron forests, cross the Imja river, climb to Dingboche.
Day 7
Dingboche acclimatisation
Short hike toward Chhukung Valley with Island Peak and Ama Dablam views.
Day 8
Dingboche → Lobuche (4,930 m)
Climb up the terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier past Sherpa memorials.
Day 9
Lobuche → Gorak Shep → EBC (5,365 m)
Early trek to Gorak Shep, then onto Everest Base Camp and back. Overnight Gorak Shep.
Day 10
Kala Patthar → Pheriche (4,283 m)
4 AM climb to Kala Patthar (5,545 m) for Everest sunrise, then descend to Pheriche.
Day 11
Pheriche → Namche Bazaar
7 hr descent back through familiar forests to Namche.
Day 12
Namche → Lukla
Final day on the trail. Celebratory dinner in Lukla.
Day 13
Lukla → Kathmandu
Morning mountain flight back to Kathmandu, free evening.
Day 14
Departure
Transfer to airport for onward flights.

FAQs
Helicopter option?+
After EBC you may opt to fly back to Lukla and finish in 10 days. Cost varies by weather and availability — let us know in advance.
How challenging?+
Non-technical but high altitude (max 5,545 m at Kala Patthar). Strong cardio fitness and prior multi-day trekking experience strongly recommended.
Insurance?+
Mandatory and must cover emergency high-altitude rescue and evacuation.
